Every Monday, I will post a prompt. You have until the following Monday to write and reply with a 100-200 word fic, i.e. a 'drabble', inspired by the prompt. (For an extra challenge, try to hit exactly 100 words!)
You can reply with the full text of the drabble, or link out to another site like Ao3, Tumblr, etc.
Any rating is permitted; please warn for NSFW and content where appropriate.
WHAT ELSE?
Don't worry if you missed last week: you can go back and write a late response anytime.
You may post more than one response to a single week's prompt.
If you're inspired to continue your drabbles, you're welcome to connect multiple challenge responses to each other, or expand on your fics outside of the challenge.
Characters: Bad Girl, Midori Midorikawa Rating: PG Word count: 200
"I'm sooo so glad, you agreed to this, Char! Scar said she thought it was silly."
"She would say something like that." Charlie propped herself up on an elbow, looking over the ouija board. "Think she's all above occult shit just 'cause she learned yoga. Anyway, are we ready?"
"Almost!" Midori lit a few more candles before dimming the lights in the hotel room. "Okay, ready!" She plopped down beside her in front of the coffee table.
The blonde placed her fingers on the planchette lightly as the other girl instructed before. "Then I can ask anything?"
"Anything specific."
"Gotcha. So..." She cleared her throat. "Spirits... Daddy... Anything we need to look out for going forward?"
They waited for what felt like forever, but was actually thirty minutes telling by the motel VCR. Just as Charlie was about to voice her doubt, the planchette shuddered before zipping across the board from under their fingers.
"Fuck! What the fuck, Midori?"
"It's not me! Just watch it." She took out her phone, recording the letters it paused over.
"Anything?" She piped up when the planchette finally stopped.
"Um... Does 'dog eat tiger' mean anything to you?"
